If you haven't already read "Here, There, and Everywhere - My Life Recording The Beatles Music" by Geoff Emerick go bug your dad to put it on your Christmas wish list. It is the BEST inside look at how this incredible music was crafted. BTW - the movie "Nowhere Boy" about John Lennon's early life growing up is sensational. I'm guessing you've already seen it.
